Our Story

Oak & Poppy’s story begins in January 2020. Back then, Jennette was a full time IT associate and full time college student planning her sister in law’s bridal shower. Her first Peacock Chair was one that needed repair. She bought rattan and started weaving back the chair to life for the bridal shower. After her first successful event, she began her vintage rental and balloon styling journey. Since her first chair, she has been able to acquire pieces to Oak & Poppy’s growing collection. Each piece is hand selected from near and far.

Our Name

Oak & Poppy is named after the Oak trees and Poppy flowers of California. A California native business that celebrates natural beauty through rattan pieces.
